What the cinnamon roll is admittedly lacking in taste (sorry), it makes up for in size. Was craving a cinnamon roll and chose to pop in when I was working from home! Between order and prep, it took less than 5 minutes. Easy!

I can't remember ever coming here for anything besides breakfast so me and my daughter and I decided to eat an early dinner here on Saturday afternoon. It wasn't super busy, so there was no wait. We were seated towards the back of the restaurant in a booth, and our server came out for our drink orders pretty quickly. We only ordered water then after that we put in our orders. I got the four piece fried chicken meal because I knew I would have leftovers for later. I got their collard greens and mashed potatoes as my sides, and it also came with a roll. My daughter got the chicken noodles soup meal with mashed potatoes on the side and applesauce, and hers also came with a roll. It took about 15 to 20 minutes for our food to come out, but that is because my fried chicken was made fresh, so that was great! Our food was delicious and the hot sauce Gunslinger was really good too. I do feel that they are a bit more pricier than crackel barrel and even though they have a lot of daily specials, the regular menu doesn't seem to have as many options as I thought they would, but I'm unsure if you can order daily specials any day since I didn't ask. Our server was very professional and attentive, and we wanted for nothing. Next time, I would like to try something from the bakery, but that too is quite pricey. The restaurant was clean and bathrooms too and it was pretty quiet besides the occasional crying baby. I would cont back again especially since it's hard to find a pave that knows how to make good collard greens, only next time I would want less meat in them and more greens.

Good old fashioned restaurant with lots of room and great service. Can't make reservations ahead of time like other places but the minimal wait is worth it. We come here often and I enjoy the Artichoke Spinach omelette the most and crave it. Enjoyed it today for an early lunch. My family has had vegetable soup here before, loaded baked potatoes, salads to BLTs and it's all good. Waiters/waitresses always seem short handed but they are always very accommodating and timely. Some things don't seem as fresh and might very well come from packaged or frozen like the vegetables for example but overall good.

Ate there for the first time in a while, the prices have increased quite a bit, we weren't the only ones who noticed as the table next to us commented that as retirees, they are pricing us out. They must be short of help as our server said she had been there since the morning shift. The food was great, the portions were a decent size, so I'm not going to complain about that, but 45 dollars for 2 meals and water to drink makes it tough to go back as often as we would like. The Corner Cafe is an institution.

Great food. I had the pork tenderloin. Very good Will try again next time we are in Liberty

My mom and dad surprised me with lunch here yesterday . I had the Beef soup it was really good. My dad had the pork tenderloin sandwich which looked scrumptious. Rounding it out mom had a tuna sandwich on a butter croissant... it was lunch time so it wasn't very busy. The restaurant was very spacious both with woodtables and nice big booths. Our server was very friendly and she did a great job being attentive to our needs. The only issue we found as a group was the tea was weak. Mom said it wasn't sweet enough and pops and I both thought it wasn't very strong. Other than that service and food were on point. Good job folks I'll be back.

Updating my review after tonight's visit. We found the service by Ali over the top if not exemplary. He had drinks on our table immediately, offered us time to decide, made entree and dessert recommendations, was attentive start to finish, personable, polite, and professional. The Corner Cafe serves consistently good food but tonight's experience was an example of the positive impact extraordinary service can make. We recommend Corner Cafe for anyone jonesing for American food in a comfortable atmosphere staffed by people making a concerted effort to please customers. Do yourself a favor and go.
